AntiSpyware Soldier
For Information and Removal of AntiSpyware Soldier- what is AntiSpyware Soldier- automatic and manual removal instructions - personal assistance provided online or by phone to safely remove AntiSpyware Soldier.
Antispyware Soldier Browsing online is very similar to driving down a busy street: there are roadblocks, traffic lights, construction, and bad drivers with which to contend. Laws, and good drivers, keep us safe for the most part, but a fender bender is not uncommon. Rogue antivirus programs are the fender benders of the internet. They are a hassle, and occasionally they can cause more damage than you initially thought. Just as you would get your car repaired immediately, you should also take steps to remove Antispyware Soldier and other rogue programs from your computer as soon as you notice them. Introduction to Antispyware Soldier Antispyware Soldier belongs to a class of malware known as rogue antivirus programs. Like every other such rogue program, Antispyware Soldier has the sole goal of persuading you that there are several severe security risks present in your system. Why? The hope is that you will be sufficiently motivated to act and purchase the full protection of the rogue program. What every computer user needs to be aware of is that the warning messages and scan results they are suddenly popping up are false; there is likely nothing wrong with the system at all, save the presence of Antispyware Soldier. Antispyware Soldier is associated with other rogues, including PestTrap, SpywareQuake, MalwareWipe, and BraveSentry. It may appear as AntispywareSoldier or AntiSpyware Soldier as well. How Does Antispyware Soldier Access a Computer System? Rogue antivirus programs like Antispyware Soldier depend on Trojans in order to enter your system. To extend our driving metaphor, rogue programs have to catch a ride with the malware mass transportation system. These Trojans usually take the same routes into your computer, including: "Questionable" sites, which can include adult, gaming, pirated, and social networking content. It is not uncommon for Trojans to disguise themselves in ads, banners, videos, and images. Peer-to-peer and freeware sites. Free and very low-cost videos are particularly vulnerable as Trojans can masquerade as necessary video codecs. When you download the video, the Trojans come in with it. User installation. While the Trojan gains access to your system without your consent, many users opt to purchase the "full protection" of Antispyware Soldier, believing it to be the solution to supposed security risks. The constant barrage of pop-ups can be very convincing, and it is an understandable reaction to want to protect your computer. Learning the signs of a rogue antivirus program will help you avoid these programs - and paying for their nonexistent protection. Is Antispyware Soldier In My Computer? Because Antispyware Soldier enters your system without your knowledge, it is important that you be able to recognize the telltale signs of its presence. When Antispyware Soldier first enters your computer, you will likely notice nothing amiss. This is because the rogue program is purposely dormant so it can avoid detection by your antivirus scanner. It changes your security settings in order to run undetected, and then it becomes active. At this point, you will begin noticing the following: Pop-ups. This is perhaps the biggest, and most bothersome, signal of a rogue program. These messages typically pop up when you are browsing online, but eventually, you may find them even when offline. You may receive a message reading: "System Alert! Your computer is infected! Windows has detected spyware infection! It is recommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss. Windows will now download and install the most up-to-date antispyware for you. Click here to protect your computer from spyware!" Notice the use of the Windows name, which makes it appear legitimate. The hope is that you will glance at it, and then immediately take action to prevent this data loss. Be assured, however, there is no threat, and there is no protection to be had from Antispyware Soldier. False scan results. Every time you start your computer, Antispyware Soldier launches into a scan, or more accurately, appears to go through a scan. This rogue cannot scan your computer for security risks, and the results that you see are merely ads. The false results issued by Antispyware Soldier have the rogue program's name printed at the top left corner. It is accompanied by an image of a crouching soldier. The ad imitates a scan in progress, and you will see a list of infected files. These "threats" are, in fact, harmless files that Antispyware Soldier has created or legitimate files from your system. Fortunately for computer users, rogue antivirus programs are easy to identify because they typically have their names written on the scan results. You know that if it is not from the legitimate antivirus program you have installed, it is a rogue result and not to be trusted. Slower performance. Antispyware Soldier diverts your resources to run itself, which leaves less for your legitimate programs. Redirects and changed browser settings. You will be redirected to Antispyware Soldier rogue sites and urged to purchase their full protection. New desktop and/or system tray icons. Here again, you are directed to rogue websites. The purpose is twofold: to persuade you once more to purchase Antispyware Soldier, and to reinforce the illusion of security risks. Removing Antispyware Soldier Rogue programs can create security vulnerabilities that allow other forms of malware to enter. To prevent this and return your computer to optimal running condition, it is best to remove Antispyware Soldier as soon as possible. Running your current antivirus scan or simply deleting the rogue is not effective because it is designed to evade such basic removal attempts and because it is not classified as a virus. To completely remove it and ensure that it is not able to replicate itself in your system registry, you have two options: Automatic removal. This is recommended for every computer user. A program that is designed specifically to handle rogue antivirus programs, like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Malwarebytes has free malware removal) , can quickly and safely remove Antispyware Soldier without risk to your system. Manual removal If you wish to remove Antispyware Soldier in this manner, it involves delving into your system registry, which is painstaking and very technical work. There is the risk that you will miss an associated file or registry key and not completely remove Antispyware Soldier. It is equally likely that you could delete a legitimate program.
